Bio-CNG project.

Root hydrocarbons is cunducting a feasibility studies for bio-CNG as a vehicle fuel for the ecologically sensitive region of Haridwar,Dehradun,Rishikesh and Roorkee.Once the project is completed it will replace petrol as the fuel thus conserving delicate flora and fauna of the region.The raw material for the project will be urban organic waste and silage crop grown in wasteland.

The roothydrocarbons is trying to implement this project with the community participation as a clean development mechanism project. For this Root hydrocarbons proposed a small scale CDM methodology which was approved as AMS-III.AQ by CDM executive board in nov 2010.
