Given the huge biomass potential of rural India. Root hydrocarbons is developing 2.4MW biogas based power plant in Village Shikarpur near Roorkee India.The project is being developed on the lines of united nation framework on climate change clean development mechanism.

The project has completed it pre-feasibility studies and feasibility studies stage of project.The project is seeking the mandatory approvals once the mandatory approvals are obtained the construction of project will start.
